Christ Chapel was formed as a safe gathering place for all believers in North Hollywood, the San Fernando Valley, and all of Los Angeles, especially for:

• Gay Christians and Lesbian Christians (LGBT)
• Straight Christians who are supportive of the universality of Christ's love
• Other members of the LGBT community who often find themselves ostracized in other churches
• Families with children who wish to raise their children in an environment of acceptance and love
• Anyone who is "unchurched" and feels out of place in typical churches

We have all of the above at Christ Chapel! Straight, Gay, Transgendered, Black, White, Latino, Asian, people with disabilities, middle-class, the struggling, those well-off, car drivers, bus riders, teens, young adults, mid-lifers, seniors. We know what it's like to not fit in at a church, and many of us know how it is to be rejected by a church. We've Been There.  And we are not going back!

People to be encouraged and grow in their walk with God.  Our purpose is to share the joy and freedom we have experienced in Him with our entire community and to bring hope and healing to the spiritually wounded.

It is our desire that you will feel at home here surrounded by the love of God. Please know that you are His child (John 1:12), He loves you dearly (John 3:16-17), and you are welcome here (Luke 9:11)!

At Christ Chapel of the Valley, we may be a different kind of church but you will still find us to be familiar and easy to access.
